Pilates Nottingham

I’m very passionate about sport. I have two older brothers who I look up to and I always wanted to work hard and play better than them. My favourite sport is football and this is what always makes me smile and feel happy. I play for the England and Great Britain Deaf Football teams. I have played in major tournaments like the Deaflympics, World Cup and European championships.

When I had an injury to my lower abdominals I had to stop running around and I was terrified that I might not be able to play anymore. The physio recommended Pilates as she said that this would help my abdominals and develop core strength. I later came back stronger and was eventually able to play again. This inspired me to consider training to become a Pilates teacher.

I became passionate about Pilates as it helps the body in the long term. I enjoy working with customers either in classes or in a private 1 to 1 sessions. I enjoy meeting my clients with their variety of life experiences, some perfectly healthy and many with conditions to address. I get great fulfilment from supporting them as they regain confidence in their own bodies and realise the power they have to heal themselves. I totally believe in the positive effects of Pilates and I think it’s also fun and enjoyable.
